22 Jesus answered, (A)“You do not know what you are asking. Are you able (B)to drink the cup that I am to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.” 23 He said to them, (C)“You will drink (D)my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, (E)but it is for those for whom it has been (F)prepared by my Father.” 24 And when the ten heard it, they were indignant at the two brothers.

22 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup(A) I am going to drink?”
“We can,” they answered.
23 Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup,(B) but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”
24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant(C) with the two brothers.
