²²You will be hated by everyone because of me,^(A) but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.^(B)

²²And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

⁹“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted^(A) and put to death,^(B) and you will be hated by all nations because of me.^(C)

⁹Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

¹⁸“If the world hates you,^(A) keep in mind that it hated me first.
