Jesus: ⁴ Haven’t you read that in the beginning God created humanity male and female?^[a] Don’t you remember what the story of our creation tells us about marriage? ⁵ “For this reason, a man will leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”^[b]
