59 Wadaaddadii sare iyo shirkii oo dhan ayaa waxay dooneen markhaati been ah oo Ciise ka gees ah si ay u dilaan. 60 Waase heli waayeen, in kastoo markhaatiyaal badan oo been ahu yimaadeen. Laakiinse dabadeed waxaa yimid laba, 61 oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Kanu wuxuu yidhi, Waan karayaa inan macbudka Ilaah dudumiyo oo saddex maalmood ku dhiso. 62 Markaasaa wadaadkii sare istaagay oo ku yidhi, Miyaanad waxba ka jawaabayn? Kuwanu waxay kugu marag furayaan waa maxay? 63 Laakiin Ciise waa iska aamusay. Kolkaasaa wadaadkii sare wuxuu ku yidhi, Ilaaha nool ayaan kugu dhaarinayaa ee noo sheeg inaad tahay Masiixa oo ah Wiilka Ilaah, iyo in kale. 64 Ciise ayaa ku yidhi, Waad tidhi. Hase ahaatee waxaan idinku leeyahay, Hadda dabadeed waxaad arki doontaan Wiilka Aadanaha oo fadhiya midigta xoogga Ilaah oo ku imanaya daruuraha cirka. 65 Markaasaa wadaadkii sare dharkiisii jeexjeexay isagoo leh, Wuu caytamay. Maxaynu markhaatiyaal weli ugu baahan nahay? Bal eega, haddeer waad maqasheen caytanka. 66 Maxay idinla tahay? Way u jawaabeen oo ku yidhaahdeen, Wuxuu istaahilaa dhimasho.

59 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin(A) were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death. 60 But they did not find any, though many false witnesses(B) came forward.
Finally two(C) came forward 61 and declared, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”(D)
62 Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” 63 But Jesus remained silent.(E)
The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath(F) by the living God:(G) Tell us if you are the Messiah,(H) the Son of God.”(I)
64 “You have said so,”(J) Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One(K) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”[a](L)
65 Then the high priest tore his clothes(M) and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. 66 What do you think?”
“He is worthy of death,”(N) they answered.

59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,
61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.
62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
63 But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
66 What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

Mar kale wadaadkii sare ayaa weyddiiyey oo ku yidhi, Miyaad tahay Masiixa oo ah Wiilka Kan la ammaano? 62 Ciise baa yidhi, Waan ahay, oo waxaad arki doontaan Wiilka Aadanaha oo fadhiya midigta xoogga Ilaah, oo ku imanaya daruuraha cirka. 63 Markaasaa wadaadkii sare dharkiisii jeexjeexay oo yidhi, Maxaannu markhaatiyaal weli ugu baahan nahay? 64 Waad maqasheen caytanka. Maxay idinla tahay? Kulligood waxay xukumeen inuu dhimasho istaahilo.

57 Then some stood up and gave this false testimony against him: 58 “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with human hands and in three days will build another,(B) not made with hands.’” 59 Yet even then their testimony did not agree.

The High Priest Questions Jesus(A)
19 Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching.
20 “I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus replied. “I always taught in synagogues(B) or at the temple,(C) where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret.(D) 21 Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they know what I said.”
22 When Jesus said this, one of the officials(E) nearby slapped him in the face.(F) “Is this the way you answer the high priest?” he demanded.
23 “If I said something wrong,” Jesus replied, “testify as to what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you strike me?”(G) 24 Then Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas(H) the high priest.

20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?
24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.
