³² Now there was a herd of many pigs there feeding on the mountain. And they begged Him that He permit them to enter into those pigs. And He permitted them. ³³ And the demons, having come out from the man, entered into the pigs. And the herd rushed down the steep-bank into the lake, and was drowned. ³⁴ And the ones feeding^[a] them, having seen the thing having happened, fled and reported it in the city and in the fields.
