⁶¹ Then the Lord turned and looked at Peter.^(A) So Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”^{(B) 62} And he went outside and wept bitterly.

⁶³ The men who were holding Jesus started mocking and beating him.^(C)
