¹⁶ Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them.^(A) Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people.

¹¹ Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks,^(A) and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
