^18 (A)You shall not take vengeance, ^(B)and you shall not keep your anger against the sons of your people, but ^(C)you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am Yahweh.

⁴⁴ But I say to you, ^(A)love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

¹⁴ For ^(A)the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “^(B)You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

⁹ Now concerning ^(A)love of the brothers, you ^(B)have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are ^(C)taught by God to love one another,

13 Let ^(A)love of the brothers continue.

²² Since you have ^(A)in obedience to the truth ^(B)purified your souls for a love of the brothers ^(C)without hypocrisy, fervently love one another from ^[a]the heart,

^7 (A)Beloved, let us ^(B)love one another, for love is from God; and ^(C)everyone who loves has been ^[a](D)born of God and ^(E)knows God.
