³⁶Do not take interest in advance or otherwise make a profit from them, but fear your God; let them live with you.^(A)

Leviticus 25:36

New International Version

³⁶Do not take interest^(A) or any profit from them, but fear your God,^(B) so that they may continue to live among you.

⁴⁰They shall remain with you as hired or bound laborers. They shall serve with you until the year of the Jubilee.

⁴⁰They are to be treated as hired workers^(A) or temporary residents among you; they are to work for you until the Year of Jubilee.
