^16 (A)He shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the impurities of the sons of Israel and because of their unlawful acts regarding all their sins; and he shall do so for the tent of meeting which remains with them in the midst of their impurities.

³³ and make atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tent of meeting and for the altar. He shall also make atonement for ^(A)the priests and for all the people of the assembly.

²² ‘And on the second day you shall offer a ^(A)male goat without blemish as a sin offering, and they shall ^(B)cleanse the altar from sin as they cleansed it with the bull.

²⁶ For seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they ^[a]consecrate it.
