Judith as a Guest of Holofernes

12 Then he commanded them to bring her in where his silver dinnerware was kept and ordered them to set a table for her with some of his own delicacies and with some of his own wine to drink.^(A)

¹⁹ Judith also dedicated to God all the possessions of Holofernes that the people had given her, and the canopy that she had taken for herself from his bedchamber she gave as a votive offering.^(A)

²³ Then Judas returned to plunder the camp, and they seized a great amount of gold and silver, and cloth dyed blue and sea purple, and great riches.^(A)
