Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang Paglubong kang Jesus
(Mat. 27:57-61; Mar. 15:42-47; Luc. 23:50-56)
38 Human niadto, miadto si Jose nga taga-Arimatea kang Pilato ug nananghid nga kon mahimo tugotan siya nga kuhaon ang patayng lawas ni Jesus didto sa krus. (Kini si Jose usa sa mga tinun-an ni Jesus, apan sa tago lang kay nahadlok siya sa mga kadagkoan sa mga Judio.) Gitugotan siya ni Pilato, busa gikuha niya ang patayng lawas ni Jesus. 39 Miuban usab kaniya si Nicodemo. (Kini si Nicodemo mao kadtong miadto kang Jesus usa niana ka gabii.) May dala siyang pahumot nga sinagol nga mira ug aloe nga mga 35 ka kilo. 40 Gikuha nila ang patayng lawas ni Jesus ug ila kining gibuliboran ug mga panapton nga puti nga gibutangag pahumot. Kay mao kini ang nabatasan sa mga Judio kon maglubong ug patay. 41 Didto sa gilansangan kang Jesus, may usa ka lugar nga gitamnan ug mga kahoy nga olibo, ug didto may usa ka bag-o nga lubnganan nga gibangag sa bakilid nga wala pa gayod malubngi. 42 Ug tungod kay disperas na sa pista sa mga Judio, ug tungod kay duol ra man kadto nga lubnganan, didto na lang nila gilubong si Jesus.

The Burial of Jesus(A)
38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders.(B) With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. 39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus,(C) the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.[a] 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen.(D) This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.(E) 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation(F) and since the tomb was nearby,(G) they laid Jesus there.
