Many Samaritans Believe

³⁹ Many of the Samaritans from that town^(A) believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.”^(B)

¹⁴ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

⁵ What, after all, is Apollos?^(A) And what is Paul? Only servants,^(B) through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task.
