25  Ano ra ko Pirirara Huhi; i mea ia,

Kei a ia te kingitanga me te wehi: ko ia hei hohou i te rongo i ona wahi tiketike.

E taea ranei ana ope te tatau? ko wai hoki i kore te whitingia e tona marama?

A ma te aha ra te tangata ka whakatikaia mai ai e te Atua? Ma te aha ka ma ai te whanau a te wahine?

Nana, ko te marama, kahore ona tiahotanga, kahore hoki nga whetu kia ma ki tana titiro:

Kia iti rawa iho to te tangata, he kutukutu nei! to te tama a te tangata, he iro nei!

Bildad

25 Then Bildad the Shuhite(A) replied:

“Dominion and awe belong to God;(B)
he establishes order in the heights of heaven.(C)
Can his forces be numbered?
On whom does his light not rise?(D)
How then can a mortal be righteous before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?(E)
If even the moon(F) is not bright
and the stars are not pure in his eyes,(G)
how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot—
    a human being,(H) who is only a worm!”(I)
