⁷ Why ^(A)do the wicked still live,
Continue on, also become very ^(B)powerful?

⁷ Be still in Yahweh and ^(A)wait ^[a]patiently for Him;
^(B)Do not fret because of him who ^(C)prospers in his way,
Because of the man who carries out schemes of wickedness.

12 ^(A)Righteous are You, O Yahweh, when I would plead my case with You;
Indeed I would ^(B)speak matters of justice with You:
Why has the ^(C)way of the wicked succeeded?
Why are all those who ^(D)deal in treachery complacent?
