32 (A)The proud one shall stumble and fall,
    with none to raise him up,
(B)and I will kindle a fire in his cities,
    and it will devour all that is around him.

33 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: (C)The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; (D)they refuse to let them go. 34 (E)Their Redeemer is strong; (F)the Lord of hosts is his name. (G)He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

32 The arrogant(A) one will stumble and fall(B)
    and no one will help her up;(C)
I will kindle a fire(D) in her towns
    that will consume all who are around her.”

33 This is what the Lord Almighty says:

“The people of Israel are oppressed,(E)
    and the people of Judah as well.
All their captors hold them fast,
    refusing to let them go.(F)
34 Yet their Redeemer(G) is strong;
    the Lord Almighty(H) is his name.
He will vigorously defend their cause(I)
    so that he may bring rest(J) to their land,
    but unrest to those who live in Babylon.
