26 (A)Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares,
and all her soldiers shall be destroyed in that day,
declares the Lord of hosts.
27 And (B)I will kindle a fire in the wall of (C)Damascus,
and it shall devour the strongholds of (D)Ben-hadad.”
Judgment on Kedar and Hazor
28 Concerning (E)Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down.

all her soldiers will be silenced(B) in that day,”
declares the Lord Almighty.
27 “I will set fire(C) to the walls of Damascus;(D)
it will consume(E) the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.(F)”

28 Concerning Kedar(G) and the kingdoms of Hazor,(H) which Nebuchadnezzar(I) king of Babylon attacked:

“Arise, and attack Kedar
and destroy the people of the East.(J)
