Isaiah 61:2

²to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor^(A)
and the day of vengeance^(B) of our God,
to comfort^(C) all who mourn,^(D)

²To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

¹⁸I will not leave you as orphans;^(A) I will come to you.^(B)

¹⁸I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

⁵For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ,^(A) so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

⁵For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
