⁴I made him the leader and ruler
of the nations;
he was my witness to them.

New International Version

⁴See, I have made him a witness^(A) to the peoples,
a ruler and commander^(B) of the peoples.

²⁷^(A) “I have chosen David
as my first-born son,
and he will be the ruler
of all kings on earth.

²⁷And I will appoint him to be my firstborn,^(A)
the most exalted^(B) of the kings^(C) of the earth.
