Genesis 3:20-22
International Children’s Bible
20 The man named his wife Eve.[a] This is because she is the mother of everyone who ever lived.
21 The Lord God made clothes from animal skins for the man and his wife. And so the Lord dressed them. 22 Then the Lord God said, “Look, the man has become like one of us. He knows good and evil. And now we must keep him from eating some of the fruit from the tree of life. If he does, he will live forever.”

New International Version
20 Adam[a] named his wife Eve,[b](A) because she would become the mother of all the living.
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.(B) 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us,(C) knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life(D) and eat, and live forever.”
