Genesis 26:2-5
New International Version
2 The Lord appeared(A) to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt;(B) live in the land where I tell you to live.(C) 3 Stay in this land for a while,(D) and I will be with you(E) and will bless you.(F) For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands(G) and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.(H) 4 I will make your descendants(I) as numerous as the stars in the sky(J) and will give them all these lands,(K) and through your offspring[a] all nations on earth will be blessed,[b](L) 5 because Abraham obeyed me(M) and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees(N) and my instructions.(O)”

2 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

the promise he made, for a thousand generations,

the oath he swore to Isaac.

to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

as the portion you will inherit.”
