Genesis 25:29-31

29 And Jacob had cooked (A)stew. And Esau came in from the field, and he was [a]famished. 30 Then Esau said to Jacob, “Please give me a swallow from the red stuff—[b]this red stuff, for I am [c]famished.” Therefore his name was called [d]Edom. 31 But Jacob said, “[e]First sell me your (B)birthright.”

Genesis 25:29-31
New International Version
29 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew,(A) Esau came in from the open country,(B) famished. 30 He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew!(C) I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.[a])(D)
31 Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.(E)”
