²⁹ And Jacob had cooked ^(A)stew. And Esau came in from the field, and he was ^[a]famished. ³⁰ Then Esau said to Jacob, “Please give me a swallow from the red stuff—^[b]this red stuff, for I am ^[c]famished.” Therefore his name was called ^[d]Edom. ³¹ But Jacob said, “^[e]First sell me your ^(B)birthright.”
