¹⁶ And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

³⁵ Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

¹¹ Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

⁹ Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;

¹¹ The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
