Genesis 2:17-19
International Children’s Bible
17 But you must not eat the fruit from the tree which gives the knowledge of good and evil. If you ever eat fruit from that tree, you will die!”

18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is right for him.”
19 From the ground God formed every wild animal and every bird in the sky. He brought them to the man so the man could name them. Whatever the man called each living thing, that became its name.

New International Version
17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,(A) for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”(B)
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”(C)
19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals(D) and all the birds in the sky.(E) He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called(F) each living creature,(G) that was its name.
