²⁴ And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant ^(A)David will be prince among them; I the Lord have spoken.

The Davidic Kingdom

²⁴ “And My servant ^(A)David will be king over them, and they will all have ^(B)one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes and ^[a]follow them.

¹⁶ ‘This is what the Lord God says: “If the prince gives a ^(A)gift from his inheritance to any of his sons, it shall belong to his sons; it is their possession by inheritance. ¹⁷ But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his until the ^(B)year of ^[a]release; then it shall return to the prince. His inheritance shall be only his sons’; it shall belong to them. ¹⁸ And the prince shall ^(C)not take from the people’s inheritance, ^[b](D)depriving them of their property; he shall give his sons inheritance from his own property, so that My people will not be scattered, anyone from his property.”’”

Portion for the Prince

²¹ “The ^(A)remainder shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy allotment and of the ^[a]property of the city; in front of the twenty-five thousand cubits of the allotment toward the east border and westward in front of the twenty-five thousand toward the west border, alongside the portions, it shall be for the prince. And the holy allotment and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the middle of it.
