Ezekiel 2:3-5

3 He said to me: “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to[a] the rebellious pagans[b] who have rebelled against Me. The Israelites and their ancestors have transgressed against Me to this day.(A) 4 The children are obstinate[c] and hardhearted.(B) I am sending you to them, and you must say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says.’ 5 Whether they listen or refuse to listen(C)—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them.(D)

9 “Son of man, hasn’t the house of Israel, that rebellious house,(A) asked you, ‘What are you doing?’(B) 10 Say to them: This is what the Lord God says: This oracle is about the prince[a] in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are living there.[b] 11 You are to say, ‘I am a sign for you. Just as I have done, so it will be done to them; they will go into exile,(C) into captivity.’
