²³ The opening in the center of the robe had a finished edge (like a leather collar^[a]) all around it to keep it from tearing. ²⁴ On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of violet, purple, and bright red yarn, and fine yarn. ²⁵ They made bells out of pure gold and fastened them in between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe.
