¹³^(A)Instead, tear down their altars, destroy their sacred pillars, and cut down their symbols of the goddess Asherah.

Exodus 34:13

New International Version

¹³Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles.^[a]^(A)

⁶He took pride in serving the Lord and destroyed all the pagan places of worship and the symbols of the goddess Asherah in Judah.

⁶His heart was devoted^(A) to the ways of the Lord; furthermore, he removed the high places^(B) and the Asherah poles^(C) from Judah.^(D)
