²⁵“If you lend money to My people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a moneylender to him; you must not charge him interest.^(A)

Exodus 22:25

New International Version

²⁵“If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest.^(A)

²⁵If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

³⁶Do not profit or take interest from him,^(A) but fear your God and let your brother live among you.

³⁶Do not take interest^(A) or any profit from them, but fear your God,^(B) so that they may continue to live among you.

³⁶Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
