Exodus 19:14-16

14 Moses went down from the mountain to the people. He consecrated the people, and they washed their clothes. 15 He said to the people, “Be ready by the third day. Do not come near a woman.”[a]
16 On the third day, when morning came, there was thunder and lightning. A thick cloud was over the mountain, and there was a very loud blast of a ram’s horn. All the people in the camp trembled.

14 After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.(A) 15 Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain(B) from sexual relations.”
16 On the morning of the third day there was thunder(C) and lightning, with a thick cloud(D) over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast.(E) Everyone in the camp trembled.(F)
