¹⁷ In majesty he is like a firstborn bull;

With them he will gore^(C) the nations,
    even those at the ends of the earth.
Such are the ten thousands of Ephraim;^(D)

¹⁵ “I have sewed sackcloth^(A) over my skin
    and buried my brow in the dust.^(B)

¹⁰ who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
    but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”^(A)

¹⁷ For you are their glory and strength,^(A)
    and by your favor you exalt our horn.^[a](B)

²⁴ My faithful love will be with him,^(A)
    and through my name his horn^[a] will be exalted.

¹⁰ You have exalted my horn^[a](A) like that of a wild ox;^(B)
    fine oils^(C) have been poured on me.

    their righteousness endures^(B) forever;
