¹⁹ And beware not to lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, ^(A)all the host of heaven, ^(B)and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

¹² oppresses the ^(A)poor and needy, ^(B)commits robbery, does not restore a pledge, but lifts up his eyes to the idols and ^(C)commits abomination,

¹⁵ He does not eat at the mountain shrines or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, or defile his neighbor’s wife,

²⁴ because they had not observed My ordinances, but had rejected My statutes and had profaned My sabbaths, and ^(A)their eyes were ^[a]on the idols of their fathers.

²⁵ Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “You eat meat with the ^(A)blood in it, lift up your eyes to your idols as you shed blood. ^(B)Should you then possess the land?
