9 Aspiciebam donec throni positi sunt, et antiquus dierum sedit. Vestimentum ejus candidum quasi nix, et capilli capitis ejus quasi lana munda: thronus ejus flammae ignis: rotae ejus ignis accensus.
10 Fluvius igneus rapidusque egrediebatur a facie ejus. Millia millium ministrabant ei, et decies millies centena millia assistebant ei: judicium sedit, et libri aperti sunt.

9 “As I looked,
“thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days(A) took his seat.(B)
His clothing was as white as snow;(C)
the hair of his head was white like wool.(D)
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels(E) were all ablaze.
10 A river of fire(F) was flowing,
coming out from before him.(G)
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
and the books(H) were opened.
