Baruch 4:10-12

¹⁰ For I have beheld the exile of my sons and daughters
    that the Everlasting has brought upon them.
¹¹ Joyfully I raised them,
    but with tears and lamenting I had to watch them depart.
¹² Let not one of you rejoice over my fate,
    a widow who has lost so many of her own;
I have been left desolate because of the sins of my children
    who deviated from the law of God.
