You shall make sacred vestments for the glorious adornment of your brother Aaron.(A) And you shall speak to all who are skillful, whom I have endowed with skill, so that they make Aaron’s vestments to consecrate him for my priesthood.(B) These are the vestments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a checkered tunic, a turban, and a sash. When they make these sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests,(C) they shall use gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns and fine linen.

Make sacred garments(A) for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.(B) Tell all the skilled workers(C) to whom I have given wisdom(D) in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest. These are the garments they are to make: a breastpiece,(E) an ephod,(F) a robe,(G) a woven tunic,(H) a turban(I) and a sash.
