2 Kings 6:32-33
Living Bible
32 Elisha was sitting in his house at a meeting with the elders of Israel when the king sent a messenger to summon him. But before the messenger arrived Elisha said to the elders, “This murderer has sent a man to kill me. When he arrives, shut the door and keep him out, for his master will soon follow him.”
33 While Elisha was still saying this, the messenger arrived followed by the king.[a]
“The Lord has caused this mess,” the king stormed. “Why should I expect any help from him?”

2 Kings 6:32-33
New International Version
32 Now Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders(A) were sitting with him. The king sent a messenger ahead, but before he arrived, Elisha said to the elders, “Don’t you see how this murderer(B) is sending someone to cut off my head?(C) Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door and hold it shut against him. Is not the sound of his master’s footsteps behind him?” 33 While he was still talking to them, the messenger came down to him.
The king said, “This disaster is from the Lord. Why should I wait(D) for the Lord any longer?”
