³He removed the foreign altars^(A) and the high places, smashed the sacred stones^(B) and cut down the Asherah poles.^[a]^(C)

⁵He also took out of all the cities of Judah ^(A)the high places and the ^(B)incense altars. And the kingdom had rest under him.
