22 (A)Do not be hasty in the (B)laying on of hands, nor (C)take part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure. 23 (No longer drink only water, but (D)use a little wine (E)for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.) 24 The sins of some people are conspicuous, going before them to judgment, but the sins of others appear later.

23 Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine(D) because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
24 The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them.
