25 Then Saul said, “Thus shall you say to David, ‘The king desires no (A)bride-price except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, (B)that he may be avenged of the king's enemies.’” (C)Now Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

25 Saul replied, “Say to David, ‘The king wants no other price(A) for the bride than a hundred Philistine foreskins, to take revenge(B) on his enemies.’” Saul’s plan(C) was to have David fall by the hands of the Philistines.
