48 Jehoshaphat built (A)ships of Tarshish to go to (B)Ophir for gold, but (C)they did not go, because the ships were destroyed at (D)Ezion-geber. 49 Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my servants go with your servants in the ships.” But Jehoshaphat was not willing.

48 Now Jehoshaphat built a fleet of trading ships[a](A) to go to Ophir for gold, but they never set sail—they were wrecked at Ezion Geber.(B) 49 At that time Ahaziah son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my men sail with yours,” but Jehoshaphat refused.
