1 Kings 19:2-4

2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, (A)“So may the gods do to me and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow.” 3 Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to (B)Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a broom tree. (C)And he asked that he might die, saying, “It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers.”

New International Version
2 So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely,(A) if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.”(B)
3 Elijah was afraid[a] and ran(C) for his life.(D) When he came to Beersheba(E) in Judah, he left his servant there, 4 while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush,(F) sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life;(G) I am no better than my ancestors.”
