The Voice
2 I must say how pleased I am to hear that you remember me in everything and continue to hold on to the traditions I have passed on to you. 3 But it is important that you understand this about headship: the Anointed One is the head of every man, the husband is the head of his wife, and God is the head of the Anointed. 4 Knowing this, any man wearing a covering over his head while praying or prophesying in your gathering disgraces his head, Jesus.

On Covering the Head in Worship
2 I praise you(A) for remembering me in everything(B) and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.(C) 3 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ,(D) and the head of the woman is man,[a](E) and the head of Christ is God.(F) 4 Every man who prays or prophesies(G) with his head covered dishonors his head.
