दावीदाचे स्तोत्र.
29 देवाच्या मुलांनो, परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
त्याच्या गौरवाची व सामर्थ्याची स्तुती करा.
2 परमेश्वाराची स्तुती करा आणि त्याच्या नावाचा आदर करा.
तुमच्या खास कपड्यात त्याची उपासना करा.
3 परमेश्वर समुद्रासमोर त्याचा आवाज चढवतो
गौरवशाली देवाचा आवाज समुद्रावरील मेघ गर्जनेसारखा वाटतो.
4 परमेश्वराच्या आवाजातून त्याची शक्ती कळते.
त्याचा आवाज त्याचे गौरव दाखवते.
5 परमेश्वराच्या आवाजामुळे खूप मोठा देवदारुवृक्ष तुकडे तुकडे होऊन पडतो.
परमेश्वर लबोनानच्या देवदार वृक्षाचे तुकडे करतो.
6 परमेश्वर लबोनानचा थरकाप उडवतो, तो छोट्या वासराप्रमाणे नाचत आहे असे वाटते.
सिर्योन थरथरतो तो छोट्या करड्या प्रमाणे उड्या मारत आहे असे वाटते.
7 परमेश्वराचा आवाज विजेच्या चकचकाटासहित आघात करतो.
8 परमेश्वराचा आवाज वाळवंटाला कंपित करतो
कादेशचे वाळवंट परमेश्वराच्या आवाजाने हादरते.
9 परमेश्वराच्या आवाजाने हरणाला भीती वाटते तो जंगलांचा नाश करतो.
परंतु त्याच्या राजवाड्यात लोक त्याच्या महानतेची स्तुती करतात.
10 महापुराच्यावेळी परमेश्वर राजा होता
आणि परमेश्वरच राजा राहणार आहे.
11 परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांचे रक्षण करो.
परमेश्वर त्याच्या माणसांना आशीर्वाद देवो.

A psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord,(A) you heavenly beings,(B)
ascribe to the Lord glory(C) and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness.(D)
3 The voice(E) of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory(F) thunders,(G)
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.(H)
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;(I)
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.(J)
6 He makes Lebanon leap(K) like a calf,
Sirion[b](L) like a young wild ox.(M)
7 The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.(N)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.(O)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c](P)
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”(Q)
