दाऊद क समर्पित।
1 हे यहोवा, तू मोरे जोति अउ मोर उद्धारकर्ता अहा।
मोका तउ कउनो स भी नाहीं डरइ चाही।
यहोवा मोरी जिन्नगी बरे सुरच्छित ठउर अहइ।
तउ मइँ कउनो भी मनई स नाहीं डरब।
2 होइ सकत ह, दुट्ठ जन मोहे पइ चढ़ाई करइँ।
होइ सकत ह, उ पचे मोरे सरीर क नस्ट करइ क जतन करइँ।
होइ सकत ह मोर सत्रु मोका नस्ट करइ क
मोह पइ आक्रमण क जतन करइँ।
3 मुला चाहे पूरी फउज मोका घेरि लेइ, मइँ नाहीं डेराब।
चाहे जुद्ध छेत्र मँ मोह पइ लोग प्रहार करइँ, मइँ नाहीं डेराब।
काहेकि मइँ यहोवा पइ भरोसा करत हउँ।
4 मइँ यहोवा स सिरिफ एक बर माँगइ चाहत हउँ,
“मइँ आपन जिन्नगी भइ यहोवा क मन्दिर मँ बइठा रहउँ,
ताकि मइँ यहोवा क सुन्दरता क लखउँ,
अउर ओकरे मन्दिर मँ धियान करउँ।”
5 जब कबहुँ कउनो बिपत्ति मोका घेरी, यहोवा मोर रच्छा करी।
उ मोका आपन तम्बू मँ छुपाइ लेइ।
उ मोका आपन सुरच्छित जगह पइ ऊपर उठाइ लेइ।
6 मोका मोर दुस्मनन घेरि रखे अहइँ।
मुला अब ओनका पराजित करइ मँ यहोवा मोर सहारा होइ।
मइँ ओकरे तम्बू मँ फुन भेंट चढ़ाउब।
जय जयकार कइके बलियन अर्पित करब।
मइँ यहोवा क स्तुति बरे भजन गाउब अउर बजाउब।
7 हे यहोवा, मोर पुकार सुना, मोका जवाब द्या।
मोह पइ दयालु रहा।
8 मोर हिरदइ कहत ह, “जा, ओकरे दर्सन बरे जा।”
एह बरे यहोवा मइँ तोहसे बात करउँ बरे तोहार समन्वा आवा हउँ।
9 हे यहोवा, किरोध मँ आपन सेवक स जिन मोड़या!
एक जउन मोर मदद कइ सकत ह उ तू अहा।
मोका अकेल्ला जिन छोड़्या!
मोका जिन त्यागा।
परमेस्सर जउन मोका बचाइ सकत ह उ तू अहा!
10 मोर महतारी अउ मोर बाप मोका तजि दिहन,
पर यहोवा मोका अंगीकार किहस अउर आपन बनाइ लिहस।
11 हे यहोवा, मोरे दुस्मनन क कारण, मोका आपन मारग देखावा।
मोका नीक काम क सिच्छा द्या।
12 मोह पइ मोर दुस्मनन हमला किहे अहइँ।
उ पचे मोरे बरे झूठ बोलेन ह।
उ पचे मोका नस्कान पहोंचावइ बरे झूठ बोलेन।
13 मोका भरोसा अहइ
कि मरइ स पहिले मइँ फुरइ यहोवा क धरम भावना क लखउँ।
14 यहोवा क मदद क बाट जोहत रहा!
साहसी अउ सुदृढ़ बना रहा
अउर यहोवा क मदद क प्रतीच्छा करत रहा।

Of David.
1 The Lord is my light(A) and my salvation(B)—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold(C) of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?(D)
2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.(E)
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;(F)
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.(G)
4 One thing(H) I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,(I)
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble(J)
he will keep me safe(K) in his dwelling;
he will hide me(L) in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.(M)
6 Then my head will be exalted(N)
above the enemies who surround me;(O)
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice(P) with shouts of joy;(Q)
I will sing(R) and make music(S) to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice(T) when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.(U)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!(V)”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face(W) from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;(X)
you have been my helper.(Y)
Do not reject me or forsake(Z) me,
God my Savior.(AA)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the Lord will receive me.
11 Teach me your way,(AB) Lord;
lead me in a straight path(AC)
because of my oppressors.(AD)
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses(AE) rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.
