15 कोमल जवाबे स किरोध सांत होत ह; किन्तु कठोर वचन किरोध क भड़कावत ह।
2 जब कउनो बुद्धिमान बोलत ह तउ दूसर ओका सुनइ चाहत ह, मुला मूरख क मुँह बेववूफी उगलत ह।
3 यहोवा क आँखी हर कहूँ लगी भई अहइ। उ नीक-बुरे क देखत रहत ह।
4 दायावाली बात जिन्नगी क बृच्छ क नाईं अहइ। मुला कपट स भरी वाणी मने क तोड़ देत ह।
5 मूरख आपन बाप क डाँट फटकार क तिरस्कार करत ह। मुला जउन डाँट फटकार पइ कान देत ह बुद्धिमान होत ह।
6 धर्मिन क घरे मँ बहोत सारा चिज रहत ह। दुट्ठ क कमाई ओह पइ मुसिबत लिआवत ह।
7 बुद्धिमान क वाणी गियान फइलावत ह, मुला मूरखन क मन अइसा नाहीं करत ह।
8 यहोवा दुट्ठ क चढ़ावा स घिना करत ह मुला ओका सज्जन क पराथन ही खुस कइ देत ह।
9 दुट्ठन क राहन स यहोवा घिना करत ह। मुला जउन धार्मिकता क राहे पइ चलत हीं, ओनसे उ पिरेम करत ह।
10 ओकरी प्रतीच्छा मँ कठोर दण्ड रहत ह जउन राहे स भटक जात, अउर जउन सुधार स घिना करत ह, उ निहचय मरि जात ह।
11 जबकि यहोवा क समन्वा मउत अउ बिनासे क रहस्य खुला पड़ा अहइँ। तउ निहचित रूप स उ लोगन क हिरदयन क बारे मँ बहोत जियादा जानत ह।
12 उ व्यक्ति जउन डाँट फटकार करइवालन क मजाक उड़ावत ह, उ विवेकी स परामर्स नाहीं लेत।
13 मने क खुसी मुँह क चमकावत, मुला मने क दर्द आतिमा क कुचरि देत ह।
14 जउने मने क नीक-बुरा क बोध होत ह उ तउ गियान क खोज मँ रहत ह मुला मूरख क मन, मूरखता पइ लागत ह।
15 गरीब व्यक्ति बरे हर एक दिन बुरा अहइ, किन्तु आनन्दित हिरदय बरे हर एक दिन उत्सव क नाईं अहइ।
16 बेचैनी क संग प्रचुर धन उत्तिम नाहीं, यहोवा भय मानत रहइ स तनिक भी धन उत्तिम अहइ।
17 घिना क संग जियादा खइया स, पिरेम क संग थोड़ा भोजन उत्तिम अहइ।
18 किरोधी जन वाद-बिवाद भड़कावत ह। जबकि सहइवाला मनई वाद-बिवाद क सुलझावत ह।
19 आलसी क राह काँटन स रूँधी रहत हीं, जबकि सज्जन क मारग राजमार्ग होत ह।
20 विवेकी पूत अपने बाप क खुस करत ह, मुला मूरख मनई अपनी महतारी स घिना करत ह।
21 निर्बुद्धि मनई सोचत ह कि मूरखता मजाक अहइ। मुला समुझदार मनई सोझ राह चलत ह।
22 बिना परामर्स क जोजना बिफल होत हीं। किंतु एक मनई अनेक सलाहकारन क परामर्स स सफल होत हीं।
23 मनई उचित जवाब देइ स खुस होत ह। जइसा उचित होइ समय क बचन केतना उत्तिम अहइ।
24 बुद्धिमान जन क मारग ओका ऊँच स ऊँच लइ जात ह, अउर ओका मउत क गड़हा मँ गिरइ स बचा रहइ।
25 यहोवा अभिमानी क घरे क छिन्न-भिन्न करत ह। मुला उ गरीब राँड़ क भुइयाँ क देखरेख करत ह।
26 दुट्ठन क जोजना स यहोवा क घिना अहइ। पर सज्जनन क जोजना ओका हमेसा भावत हीं।
27 लालची मनई अपने घराने पइ हमेसा बदनामी लिआवत ह मुला उहइ सांति स जिअत रहत ह जउन जन-घूस स घिना भाव राखत ह।
28 धर्मी जन बोलइ स पहिले सोचत ह। मुला दुट्ठ जन बेसोचे समुझे बियर्थ बातन बोलत ह।
29 यहोवा दुट्ठन स दूर रहत ह, बहोत दूर; मुला उ धर्मी क पराथना सुनत ह।
30 आंनद स भरी आँखी क चमक मने क हर्सित करत ह, नीक खबर हाड़न तलक ताकत पहोंचावत ह।
31 जउन जीवनदायी डाँट सुनत ह, उहइ बुद्धिमान जनन क बीच चैन स रही।
32 अइसा मनई जउन अनुसासन क उपेच्छा करत, उ तउ आपन जिन्नगी क ही रद्द करत ह। मुला जउन सुधार पइ धियान देत ह समुझ-बूझ पावत ह।
33 यहोवा क भय लोगन क गियान सिखावत ह। आदर पावइ स पहिले नम्रता आवत ह।

5 A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.(K)
6 The house of the righteous contains great treasure,(L)
but the income of the wicked brings ruin.(M)
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge,(N)
but the hearts of fools are not upright.
10 Stern discipline awaits anyone who leaves the path;
the one who hates correction will die.(T)
12 Mockers resent correction,(W)
so they avoid the wise.
14 The discerning heart seeks knowledge,(Z)
but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.
15 All the days of the oppressed are wretched,
but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.(AA)
16 Better a little with the fear of the Lord
than great wealth with turmoil.(AB)
17 Better a small serving of vegetables with love
than a fattened calf with hatred.(AC)
19 The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns,(AF)
but the path of the upright is a highway.
20 A wise son brings joy to his father,(AG)
but a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly brings joy to one who has no sense,(AH)
but whoever has understanding keeps a straight course.
24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent
to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.
25 The Lord tears down the house of the proud,(AN)
but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.(AO)
26 The Lord detests the thoughts(AP) of the wicked,(AQ)
but gracious words are pure(AR) in his sight.
27 The greedy bring ruin to their households,
but the one who hates bribes will live.(AS)
29 The Lord is far from the wicked,
but he hears the prayer of the righteous.(AV)
30 Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones.(AW)
31 Whoever heeds life-giving correction
will be at home among the wise.(AX)
