³Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.^(A)

³All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

¹⁰He was in the world, and though the world was made through him,^(A) the world did not recognize him.

¹⁰He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

¹⁰He also says,

“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.^(A)
