²⁸ They also brought together singers. They came from all around Jerusalem and from the Netophathite villages. ²⁹ They came from Beth Gilgal and the areas of Geba and Azmaveth. The singers had built villages for themselves around Jerusalem. ³⁰ The priests and Levites made themselves pure. They also made the people, the gates and the wall of Jerusalem pure.
