The Plan
Prophecy Thread of Week 40
Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary Definition of Truth:
Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. The truth of history constitutes its whole value. We rely on the truth of the scriptural prophecies.
MESSIAH TO BE OBEDIENT
The Bible says that Christ learned obedience, becoming a servant and obeying even to the point of death on a cross (Php 2:8). It was prophesied that He would not be rebellious; that means He was submitted to God the Father. We too, as we are submitted to God’s will we come to hear His voice as Christ could hear (Isa 50:4, Jhn 10:4).
